Brett C. Rufus

Brett is a fully registered Psychologist and Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). He graduated with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, and has worked in both public and private mental health services in South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.

Brett has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults who are experiencing difficulties as a result of depression, anxiety, trauma and adjustment issues. In addition, Brett enjoys working with individuals and couples to better understand their problems and work towards improved health and general functioning.

Brett has training in Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), and also uses Schema-Focused Therapy and Imagery Rescripting and Reprocessing Therapy in working with those who have experienced recent or past trauma.

Brett consults on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings each week between 4pm and 8pm.
